  1. try on : to test whether clothing is good for you by wearing it
  2. get into : to put on clothes
  3. fit into : to be of the appropriate size for clothing
  4. put on : to start wearing an article of clothing
  5. throw on : to hastily put on
  6. have on : to be wearing
  7. take off : opposite of put on
  8. zip/button up : to close a zipper/buttons
  9. tuck in : to put one's shirt below their pants
  10. roll up : to push one's sleeves up to reveal more arm
  11. dress up/dress up like : to choose an outfit to wear
  12. bundle/wrap up : to put on more layers of clothing
  13. strip down : to take off some layers
  14. wear out : to use something to the point when it no longer serves its purpose.
  15. slip on : synonym of "put on" for shoes
  16. slip off : synonym of "take off" for shoes
